1. Filing a copyright complaint (DMCA notice)
If you believe content on TEWIZ infringes your copyright, send a written notice to our Designated Agent that includes ALL of the following:
- Your physical or electronic signature.
- Identification of the copyrighted work you claim has been infringed (or a representative list, if multiple works).
- The exact URL(s) of the allegedly infringing content on TEWIZ, sufficient for us to locate it.
- Your name, address, telephone number, and email address.
- A statement that you have a good-faith belief that the use is not authorized by the copyright owner, its agent, or the law.
- A statement, under penalty of perjury, that the information in the notice is accurate and that you are the copyright owner or authorized to act on the owner's behalf.
Send notices to our Designated Agent:
DMCA Agent, TEWIZ
Email: support@tewizz.com
Incomplete notices may be rejected. Knowingly false claims may result in liability for damages, including costs and attorneys' fees (17 U.S.C. § 512(f)).
2. How TEWIZ handles notices
- We review each notice for facial validity within a reasonable time, typically 3 business days.
- If the notice is valid, we remove or disable access to the content and notify the poster.
- We record the strike on the poster's account.
- We keep a record of the notice for our repeat-infringer program.
3. Counter-notices
If your content was removed and you believe the removal was in error or that you have the right to use the material, you may submit a counter-notice to support@tewizz.com containing ALL of the following:
- Your physical or electronic signature.
- Identification of the removed material and the location at which it appeared before removal.
- A statement under penalty of perjury that you have a good-faith belief the material was removed as a result of mistake or misidentification.
- Your name, address, and telephone number, and a statement that you consent to the jurisdiction of the federal court where you reside (or, if outside the U.S., the U.S. District Court for the District of Delaware) and that you will accept service of process from the person who submitted the original notice.
We forward valid counter-notices to the original complainant. If they do not file suit within 10–14 business days, we may restore the content.
4. Repeat-infringer policy
- TEWIZ tracks copyright strikes on every account.
- Three separate valid strikes within a rolling 12-month window results in permanent account termination and forfeit of any pending balance.
- Egregious cases (commercial-scale piracy, coordinated infringement rings) may result in immediate permanent termination on the first strike.
- Counter-notices that succeed in restoring content also clear the associated strike.
5. Trademarks & other IP
Trademark, publicity, and other IP complaints may also be sent to support@tewizz.com. Provide the same information required for a DMCA notice, plus registration details for the mark (where applicable).
6. Fair use, parody, and fair dealing
Before submitting a notice, please consider whether the use is protected by fair use (U.S.), fair dealing (UK/Commonwealth), or an equivalent doctrine. Notices filed to suppress lawful speech may be rejected and may expose the sender to liability.
